Nikabrik: I’ll come with you. I’d like to see you try explaining things to the minotaurs!
Caspian: Minotaurs? They’re real?
Trufflehunter: And very bad-tempered.
Nikabrik: Not to mention big.
Trufflehunter: HUGE.
Caspian: What about centaurs? Do they still exist?
Trufflehunter: Well the centaurs will probably fight on your side. But there’s no telling what the others will do.
Caspian: What about Aslan?
Nikabrik: How do you know so much about us?
Caspian: Stories.
Trufflehunter: Wait a minute. Your father told you stories about Narnia?
Caspian: No, my professor… <pauses> Listen I am sorry. But these are not the kind of questions you should be asking.
Nikabrik: <seeing Trufflehunter sniff the air> What is it?
Trufflehunter: Humans.
Nikabrik: <nods over at Caspian> Him?
Trufflehunter: No. <sees Telmarine soldiers in the distance> Them!
